What is Chemical Reaction:

The chemical reaction is the way in which one substance reacts against another. In a chemical reaction there are the substances that react, that is, the reactants, and the substances produced, called products.

Chemical reactions are part of the chemical properties and indicate their behavior against other mixtures and substances in the formation of new products.

In a chemical reaction, the process of breaking chemical bonds is triggered by creating spontaneously, or by manipulation, a new equation or chemical. Therefore, in a chemical reaction, reactants must be collected, mixed, or handled to create chemicals.

Within the area of ​​organic chemistry that studies structures based on carbon molecules, in the photosynthesis of plants, for example, there is a chemical reaction that transforms the carbon dioxide absorbed by the chlorophyll of plant leaves into oxygen.

Types of chemical reactions

There are four types of chemical reactions in the field of inorganic chemistry:

1. Synthesis or addition reactions: the reagents come together to form one product (A + B = AB) Analysis or decomposition reactions: one reagent forms several products (AB = A + B) Displacement reactions: also called simple substitution, one of the reagents move towards the strongest creating a product (AB + C = A + BC) Double substitution reactions: the reagents are compound substances, therefore, when mixed they become a mixture of not two but four reagents. How they associate with each other will depend on their chemical and reaction properties. (AB + CD = AD + CB)

It is important to mention that chemical reactions modify chemical and not physical properties, therefore, their changes in structures can be irreversible, depending on the properties of the substance in question.
